Bruce C. Diven, PT, DPT
Owner and Director of RESULTS PT
Dr. Diven received his physical therapy degree from the Medical College of Ohio in 1984. Dr. Diven received his Doctor of Physical Therapy honors from the prestigious Boston University – Sargent School of Allied Health Sciences in Boston, MA. Dr. Diven was Director of Rehabilitation Services, overseeing physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy, for Riverside Osteopathic Hospital in Trenton, Michigan. Dr. Diven opened Rehab Connection, Inc., a private practice physical therapy clinic, in Trenton Michigan in 1989 that continued serving the community of Trenton through 2011. Dr. Diven sold his clinic and started Results PT in order to provide personal and hands-on treatment for his patients outside the insurance regulations and restrictions that commenced with corporate & national healthcare expansion (i.e. regional hospital systems, Obamacare, etc.). Dr. Diven’s continued research and experience in microcurrent electrical stimulation shows exciting promise in working with tissues unresponsive to conventional efforts such as nerve pain, damage or injury, scar tissue, adhesions, and the ability to facilitate healing of acute and chronic injuries.
Dr. Diven’s treatment approach achieves fantastic results! The foundation of the treatment approach is the use of microcurrent electrical stimulation to facilitate the healing of damaged / injured tissue and opening up the patient’s neurological pathways to obtain pain-free movement. Only after relieving the pain, does Dr. Diven commence hands-on manual therapy, which means to manipulate the affected tissues at every level. He uses a mix of muscle energy techniques, massage, fascial mobilization and muscle activation to remove restrictions and adhesions that are responsible for the patient’s cycle of pain and dysfunction.
